Resin frame

In 3D I chose four objects from my green collection. I chose three bottle tops and a paint tube. I placed them in the vacuum former so I can have moulds of them to pour resin into.
Once the moulds were made I got and bent some wire to fit into the plastic moulds and used masking tape to keep it in place. I decided to use the green coloured resin because the colour I chose to collect was green so it would fit in nicely with my project. I poured the green resin into my moulds and left it to dry for a couple of days. Once it was dry I cut the resin out of the plastic moulds and got rid of the plastic.  I used long nose pliers to straighten the wire I placed into the resin. Once I done that I made a frame to display my work. I measured what size I needed my frame to be using a long steel ruler and cut the pieces of wood on a band saw. I used sandpaper to sand down the pieces of wood and used t cut to make the wood look shiny and finished.  I had to mark out where each of my resin pieces would hang from the frame so I used a long steel ruler and a pencil to mark out where I wanted them to go. Using a drill I drilled a hole through both sides of the wood frame so the wire inside my resin pieces can fit through and stay inside the wood.  The wire was a bit too long for the frame so I bent to wire back and cut the ends off using pliers. I liked the way my green resin pieces came out and the way they were displayed, I think it looks professional and it goes well with my project.
